Take a look at love for example. You can either fall into one of three categories:
1. A love-junkie: Someone who is impatient when it comes to love and tries to force things into fruition.
2. A love-hater: Someone who may have tried the love thing before but has probably been hurt and decided not to do it again.
3. The love-neutral: Someone who goes with the flow and allows things to happen.
Most of us are like the first category that I listed, myself included. We forsee relationships sometimes way past where they were to go to begin with and sometimes we force things into happening therefore attach ourselves to the wrong type of love for us. I have seen it happen many times where individuals just recently enter into a relationship and after the first 2 months then they begin to plan the rest of their lives. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM DOING THIS!
There is beauty in uncertainty and we should all (myself included) strive to be like category number three. The only problem is, once you fall in love sometimes it is difficult to control your feelings and you cant help but get carried away. Have you ever noticed how sometimes when you really want something to happen thats the time that it doesnt and when you are not paying things any attention, then that is the time that you get what you have always wanted?? Its kinda like that. The universe is always conspiring and all it asks is for us to give it a little time so that it can send things our way. The problem is that time is a very precious commodity that sometimes we feel is running out and we MUST grab on to whatever is nearest to us.
My advice??? Wait!
As hard as this may be to do. I promise that you will not be disappointed. I know that I am fairly new at this jogging thing but I believe that it is about time that we begin to learn life's lessons once that have to waste time to learn them over and over again. If you find real, true love on the first go, I am extremely happy for you and you should hold on with both hands and never let go. But if you are like me and you are still waiting for the big bang, I have one thing to say to you...WAIT! :)
